When we first spoke to KFit Performance about an SEO project, their website and brand was outdated and inconsistent, and they weren't even showing up in search results for their own name!
The website was intended to be a source for new personal training clients, but it wasn't doing its job.
In order to turn the KFit Performance into the lead magnet it was intended to be, we proposed a full redesign for April 2023 comprised of four parts: rebranding, full website redesign, search engine optimization, and tracking & measurement improvements.
We suggested a friend of ours, Carlie Barth Creative Co., to design an updated logo with official fonts and colors to create a cohesive and distinct brand.
Once the brand was solidified, Ridgeline went to work redesigning the KFit website entirely using the updated look. We simplified the design, brightened it up a bit, and made it easier to navigate all while using the updated brand and photography.
During the redesign, Ridgeline built in an SEO strategy designed to capture rankings for both branded (ex. "kfit performance") and non-branded (ex. "personal trainer greenville sc") keywords.
We also made sure that KFit would show up in local map packs in the search results by optimizing her existing Google Business Profile (GBP) and creating an Apple Business Connect (ABC) profile.
Here's how we did it:
Ridgeline added an inquiry form and added a field for tracking how users found KFit. We also created KFit’s first-ever client database that collects client data and allows her to track client conversions and estimate revenue generated per channel. That's how we were able to track revenue gains through SEO below.
KFit improved and gained rankings for more than 50 branded and non-branded keywords including: kfit, personal trainer greenville sc, fitness coaches greenville, personal trainer, kfit gym, sports conditioning programs greenville, and more.
The improved rankings led to a large increase in impressions on KFit's website in the search results over the previous year.
The lift in impressions led to more chances to get users to click through to the website. Consequently, KFit saw what proved to be a significant increase in overall clicks to the website compared to the previous year.
Not all positive growth looks like a hockey stick! Can you believe that these gains led to a near doubling in revenue? Scroll down, and see for yourself.
The intake form added to the website for new inquiries allowed us to track which inquiries that came from the website converted into new clients.
With a custom built customer relationship management (CRM) platform, Ridgeline helped KFit estimate revenue added after the redesign and search optimization efforts. The revenue generated from the before-undiscoverable-website was a whopping 85.56% gain on her revenue that year.
Overall, the website accounted for an estimated 46.11% of KFit’s total revenue by mid-2024. This is very significant for a local personal trainer whose source of leads was solely dependent upon word-of-mouth referrals and organic social. KFit has not only grown their revenue, but they also have greater peace of mind knowing their revenue isn't dependent on one source of leads—now that's a relief!
Even a 10% increase in revenue can be game-changing for a small business.
